I have a 1989 24 Rocket. It has been used in the Lake St.Clair area for over 600 hours. On the starboard side, where the rub rail makes a 90 degree bend at the transom I have a very faint stress crack about 1/2 inch long. That is the only stress crack that I know. Not bad for a 24 foot boat that gets run in that Lk St. Clair slop.

Hey, h2o warrior - give me that 94 PQ 290 for 1 weekend & I'll return it to you fully stressed out! Seriously you must have babied the thing because I've yet to see a boat driven hard without any signs of stress cracks. - unless you only go out when there's no wind at all. Try crossing Lake St. Clair on a stormy day - or try following a Dominator - No Pressure
