288 breakout?
Anyone remember what the price was on the winter breakout for the 288? Also which engine was in it?
Just trying to get a better idea of actual cost to buy a new 288 with a 496HO. I saw the pricing on their website, but i assume no one pays that. I'm not ready to to get involved with a salesman yet, just seeing if I should. (I am looking to purchase something in that size range this spring)
Thanks!

I thought it was less than that. I remember thinking it was a real good deal, but it was taken off the website before I gave it real thought.

Re: 288 breakout?
I think I've decided that if I spend anymore than 55k, then I want to buy something new. If I find something i feel to be a good deal for less than that used, then i would buy that.
Its the tradeoff in my mind of $$ vs. # of years of relatively painless use in the boats future.

Could have sworn the 288 was $69K with a 496 (HO?) and the 32 was $99k with T/6.2's. Check with the factory.....tell them you are Cuda and you need a bimini installed.
