Looks like Michael Allweiss has returned...Well, whatever happens, you should all take notice and learn:

1. Have a qualified and trusted attorney/ risk consultant review your insurance coverage, especially if written with non-admitted excess Company & involves the Marine Industry...

2. You all know that high performance policies have limitations and special conditions. Make sure the designated driver clause is understood, along with the territorial limitation.
Nighttime exclusions, etc.

3. Poker Runs: Well, all the policies have extreme limitations, and none provide for participant legal liability....Big Problem for the occupants & or Owners...Be Careful....Better not be a race event, as coverage will not apply...on either end...

If any questions need to be answered, as respects to Marine Risks, you can always call me...although, I limit my writings to Race Teams & Race Events...Water only in the US Canada, & Puerto Rico...

Question for Hawk,
If a Poker Run awards a "prize" or "trophy" to the "fastest boat to checkpoint whatever", does the poker run then become a "race"? Is the insurance null and void at this point?
Thanks, just curious.
