Team Gallagher Partners with Challenger Offshore
Now that the contract is officially signed:
August 11, 2006
Team Gallagher has partnered with the manufacturer of their boat, Washington, Missouri, based Challenger Offshore, to bring you Team Gallagher Challenger Offshore Racing. "We've been extremely happy with the rough water performance of our Challenger Offshore D-DC 28, and it's great to have the support of our manufacturer on the offshore racing circuit," stated Sean, the team's owner and throttleman. He further commented: "This is the fourth season this boat has been on the offshore racing circuit, proving time and again it can take a rough water beating and still finish at the top of the class." Team Gallagher's Challenger Offshore race boat captured the 2004 Super Boat International National Championship for its class under its previous owner while Team Gallagher holds the P5 class closed course speed record set in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2005.
"We've continued to demonstrate that our Challenger Offshore race boat is well constructed, provides great rough water handling and is capable of beating every other manufacturer's boat in our class," noted Sean. With just over half the season completed, Team Gallagher is in third place in the national points standing. "We're really looking forward to the World Championship in Key West later this year," Sean exclaimed. "We missed the the World Championship last year due to my military commitment, but this year we'll be ready to show all our competitors they've got a real 'challenger' to contend with,'' Sean described.
Team Gallagher Challenger Offshore Racing will debut August 18-20, 2006, at the Panama City Beach Super Boat Grand Prix in Panama City Beach, Florida. For more information on how you can be involved in this exciting sport, visit Team Gallagher Offshore Racing online at www.tgor.net

To my friend,
Major Sean Gallagher

Congrats on the new Sponsor. I know Challenger Offshore Powerboats will be pleased with you and your Team as their representatives in Offshore Racing. They could not have made a better choice.
I have always said that one day, you will become an icon in the sport. Keep up the good work, and be assured that there are many in Offshore who admire and respect you...not only for what you bring to Offshore, but also for your service to our country.
