Look at SBI results it seems a little weird to me but I think they might have changed something?????? I never saw the unofficial results.

It looks to me on the website as if SBI made a decision and changed the results of the race without even contacting Miccosukee S-1 about the fact that there was even a pending dispute. Maybe there is someone who knows exactly what is going on the can comment?

Daren,

There are other typoes on the results also. I am sure within a day or so they will have notified you and Lee and the site will be straight. I have to go out and make sure I hooked up to the right boat, last time I checked F1-12 Venom was in storage in South Carolina. I thought I brought F1-2 Fountain with me

I received a letter in my office sent to me on the 8th via fax stating that Miccosukee was penalized for not maintaining our lane in the turn and therefore since DVC was ahead at that time, they were given the win. Not sure I understand but.........

Lee's computer is unavailable as well as his public relations person is out of town, therefore he asked me to post the following.

In the APBA SBI rule book page 42 under D, racing rules of the road section 4 passing in a turn (formerly overlap) when two boats are on the same course or approximately the same course heading into a turn and one boat is attempting to pass the other, both race boats must maintain their lane until they come out of the turn.

Lee say's he hopes this helps with understanding of the decision.

welp, if that's the case, then at least 5 or 6 boats should have been disqualified in KW at turn 2 antics...
