Congratulations Team Gallagher
Congratulations on your 1st Place finish go to Tom and Sean Gallagher, the father and son team in the P5-99 Challenger boat. St. Cloud was Sean’s last race before shipping off to serve our country in Spain…what a great way to close the season.
Hats off go to the entire the P-5 Class for an exciting performance for the spectators in St. Cloud. While flat water and adrenalin was taking its toll on the rabbits in the fleet….Team Gallagher paced themselves…ever mindful of their own past indiscretions…and proved once again that planning and careful execution will prevail.
After the race, Steve Kildahl, the ever consummate sportsman and apparent winner in the P5-5 Velocity boat (before the GPS downloads were analyzed) was the first to congratulate Sean and Tom on their 1st place finish…Steve, you are a great competitor, true sportsman, and role model who all Racers should aspire to emulate.
The P5-99 Challenger boat will be missed while Sean is away…however, I fully expect that Sean will keep in touch with everyone through his insightful comments as TGOR here on OSO.

Ken,
Thanks for the kind words.
We'll definitely miss the races, the great friends and true professionals we've met over the last few years. Unfortunately, my military committments will take us away from the sport for a couple years, but we will be back.
We'll take this "forced" time-off to put a little money back in the bank and refocus our energy on our sponsorship efforts (we've already had one sponsor ask us to contact them upon our return since they want to continue our relationship). Nonetheless, like you said, I'll still be around OSO, so really won't be that far away...just a click of the mouse.
BTW...if anyone knows someone in P1 that may need a throttleman while they're in Spain, don't hesitate to drop my name.
See everyone around the boards...best of luck to all for the rest of the season.
