‘HIGH OCTANE’ SPORT HITS THE BIG SCREEN AS THE BIGGER PICTURE BRINGS SUPER BOAT RACES TO A DIGITAL CINEMA THEATRE NEAR YOU
The Bigger Picture, the alternative content distribution division of Access Integrated Technologies, Inc. ("AccessIT") (NASDAQ:AIXD), announced today that it will bring coverage of Super Boat International® races to digital cinema enabled movie theatres this year. This will be the first program offered by the division’s “High Octane Sports” channel.

Produced by Super Boat International Productions, Inc. (SBIP), the International Super Boat Racing Series features the world’s biggest, fastest boats in racing events from the white sand beaches of Florida to the high-rises of New York City. With 16 races a year, culminating in the internationally renowned World Championship Race in Key West, digital cinema audiences will share in the excitement of hurtling over the waves at speeds close to 200 mph.

The 16th annual Super Boat Grand Prix was held this past weekend on the Hudson River just outside New York City, the only race granted special permission to shut down the Hudson for such an event.

“At least as dangerous as driving an Indy car because of the changing nature of the water’s surface and unforeseen hazards such as logs, the Super Boat International races are an action-packed programming force to kick-off the High Octane channel,” said Jonathan Dern, Co-President of The Bigger Picture. “This is the next step in The Bigger Picture’s commitment to bring entertaining and unique programming to digitally equipped theaters.”

Dale Hurst, Director of Marketing for Carmike Cinemas said, "We know that Carmike's audiences will enjoy every minute of the High Octane sports programming The Bigger Picture is planning. This is an excellent example of what digital cinema is really all about for us. We'll fill seats that would otherwise be empty."

“An agreement between Super Boat International and The Bigger Picture is a win for both organizations and for theater audiences everywhere,” said John Carbonell, President of Super Boat International Productions. “Super Boat racing is one of the most exhilarating sports today and now audiences throughout the country will be able to enjoy it without fear of getting splashed.”
