Race Fuel Purchases

Per SBI :
March 20, 2008 – Key West, Florida: Due to the difficult times in the petroleum business, Race fuel has been affected as much as the street fuels gasoline and diesel. With the uncertainty of the cost of refining fuel week by week, along with the added expense of the different City’s requirement of fire protection would make the fuel cost to the racer too high.
Super Boat International has removed the requirement to purchase fuel for the 2008 season from the rulebook and drivers packet. The tanker is not going to be on site at the dry pits. If you have any questions, please give the SBIP office a call.
