I'm an Acquisition Logistics Consultant for the Department of Defense. I like it, but i too wish it were more mobile. You can't live too far from the pentagon.

I'm an Operating Engineer with the N.Y.C Department of Enviromental Protection. In laymans terms " I dig holes" for the city water dept. I have every kids dream job and the pay is pretty good too!!!

I'm a Mechanical Engineer by education and worked as one for almost 10yrs for a heavy construction equipment OEM.
Just started a new job today as a Business Unit Manager for a company that supply components to Aircraft and Military industry.
Engineering is a fun career most of the time and it pays pretty well. But, there is no real potential for huge income unless you go out on your own and manufacture something.
