Re: Extension Boxes
My X is approx. 1" to 1.5" higher than what comes out of the factory. I'd like to try a shorty, or even 1" spacer. I remember reading that the Y2K performed better with lower X.
Oh Zone, if no performance gains do you think it handles/drives any different than without?? Have you been in a Y2K with a standard set up to compare? Maybe this spring we can switch drivers seats to see the difference and handling.

Re: Extension Boxes
I am really curious to see if their would be any gain in rough water performance handeling. I know it is supposed to help out with top end, but how much downside would would I loose down low and midrange? I would have to weigh the good vs. the bad. It is a really clean looking setup though.

Re: Extension Boxes
PE;
I havent truely felt much a difference if any. I have been in Superbabi at speed but only straight line. I have 25 hrs on my boat (mostly with wife and son). And not much solo time maybe a couple hours to rip it up. I dont have any plaining issues. Popular belief around here is there are no speed gains. I would hope to prove otherwise. I'd love to swap seats with you! Pat Too!
