Thanks Pat, I just don't like racing with a blower, I do have the hp500, that I may sell to Ale with the Activator, May just build a new motor from scratch do you think the headers on my HP3 will bolt to a Gen 5 block, I would think so. I was thinking about change the 496 to a carb with a distributor conventional engine, maybe thats impossible. Does the engine above have a distributor?

If you don't sell your HP500EFI, it is a good base to build a 540cube NA stroker with 650 to 700HP engine. The AZ Speed intake/fuel injection can be altered to handle the power.
If you are looking for more than 650-700 NA, then I would suggest you start from scratch with a tall deck block.
Yes, I do believe the headers from your HP3 will fit the older style engines.
No, I don't believe there is a distributor drive mechanism design into the new 496 big block.

If you still have your HP500EFI, that is the engine to boost; and I do mean that literally. Lots of supercharger packages to bolt on that baby to make 750+HP...
The GM 502 is rated for 750...

MAX!
