I pay just shy of $700 for full coverage with a 25K value through Progressive.
1997 24' Superboat 502MagMPI Bravo

$1500 for a new $75,000, 30' boat that runs 70+mph is a good deal.

My quote was $800yr for a 06' Y2K w/ 500hp full coverage... State Farm last year gave me that one we'll see if it holds up next year when I will finally need it.

I dont know about that statement, I think I would rather have a Herring then a merc but then we are talking about 2 over-priced props

Hope it all goes well Zimm, they are nice boats. If I get lucky your new boat and mine will be finished at the same time.

Oh man I'm bummed out. We're still out here in Cyprus doing the evacution of Beirut. So I find out we're not getting tax-free pay anymore-that's only when we're south of the Suez canal- great a 30% pay cut I wasn't planning on.

And now this morning my roommate back home got drunk, woke up in the middle night, tried to drive home, wrecked his Subaru STI, walked back to the party, reported it stolen, and got arrested for false report! Now I'm pretty sure he won't be paying the rent after all the fees/fines he's looking at. I think it would be crappy for me to ask him the day after.

Sooooo....my superboat order is on hold right now. Dang it. I'll have to keep reading about ya'll's (wow, a double contraction) boats and keep staring at my estimate/build sheet sitting on my desk every day. I hope it works out.

Sorry to hear your luck Zimm. Hang in there and stay in touch - maybe on a lay over you can make a Superfest or take a ride sometime.....
