Default This is the reason.....

I found this website. I just happen to buy that powerboat issue when I was in an airport and I read that article. I have been looking into a Superboat ever since. I REALLY want a NEW Y2K but am unsure if I am ready for that much boat(or payment). The (3)lakes around me are relatively small and only offer boat slip rental at $1800 year and we don't have year round boating weather. 30' is alot to tow 30 miles every time you want to put over.

Around LI $1800 for a slip is cheap as far as towing it might be long but I sure does look hot, when you tow the boat around everyone stops and stares... I am buying a 30 now and you can not beat the performance or the value$$$ with any other boat on the market... If you want a real custom built limited production boat thers only one name SUPERBOAT

I see that you are buying a 30', I have seen all the pics as of now, I'm jealous I must say.
I totally agree with the towing aspect, I LOVE to flaunt my toys. My girlfriend is still getting used to the loading and unloading so jumping from a 23' to a 30' may be too overwhelming for her.
With the research I have done I think I can agree. Another issue I am encountering is if these are in the NADA making them financable.
$1800 only gets you a water slip. I would prefer to pay for just the months I use it and take my boat home for the winter or better yet put it in storage.
