I run standard 4 inch rubber flappers on my 5 inch exhaust.Put em in hot water and pull em on. Dont look great but work fantastic. Actually tone down the noise a bit also.

Vortec cones bolted into the CMI,s Clamp on Bollas outside and rubber flapper at the end !!! Now it sounds like a 500. Takes out alot of RPM !!! Would still run over 95 !! Now thats a squeezing !!

Sound the same as any other big block on the bay. Just hope they clean the bay of the floating hot tubs. Mite have to keep the speed down this year. The tides have been crazy high and that just keeps everything floating off the marshes. Bad news for everybody. Hows FRANK N DICKS doing ?

Does reinforcer have side exhaust? Looks like it in this photo. This is what I have thought about doing to prevent reversion. I think this is the reason the previous owner wanted to sell the boat. He had sent a ridiculous amount of money in redoing the motor three or four times because of this problem and would like to take care of the problem before it happens to me.
