if you ever drag your boat down to Miami, there's a nice bunch of riders there called Keys Island Runners, all outboards go fast

their next event is in April

9w south off 84 to broadway to waterfront there’s the city of Newburg public launch. It’s pretty nice though not that big of a place and not an over abundance of parking. Thanks for the kind words!

I have seen (I believe your) posts about it. Looks like a blast. At my age 62, I’m pondering retiring in FL. Heck I went to FIU back in 78/79! Who knows....

Slow go bro’s. The width of these new motors plus the wing plates for the external steering have complicated the Installation of the motors where as there would be a binding situation with the steering rams and boat. We will be setting the motors back another 3 inches that will be a total of 22 inch setback from the transom. Having people that are willing to work during the shut down is also a challenge as well. Always seem to be waiting for something. Finally got P&G Canvas dialed in with a Bimini as he’s been doing much needed medical supplies/shields etc. for the local hospitals 👍. Bimini looks great though! Hope to get working on the cockpit cover as well as a transport cover once we get the interior together. Just trying to get back in the groove as John has got a couple other boats in process.

The Bimini looks great. Stainless steel framing? Also what is the max speed you can leave it up?

Had P&G duplicate what he did for me on my last boat, this one may be a touch lower and slightly longer. I’ve run into the upper 50’s -60 with the last without issue. This time I added an additional detachable forward center tether That will attach to the nearest grab handle mounted center on the deck between the canopy’s for additional confidence at speed.
Yes. Stainless steel.
