I am trying to locate one. If anyone one knows of one for sale I would like to get some info. John does not build this anymore and I know it is a rare find. Thanks for any help.

It is being sold by WWW.TRUENORTHMARINESALES.COM

(ad placed 4/2)
There's a '85 30' Tempest(TWIN 300 MERCS)there too.(pictured).

Thats some big money for that one. I was hoping for one a little less pricey. Is he flexible on the price because for a little more cash I can get a brand new decked over.

All boat prices are flexible. If the boat is mint & the motor (new?), trailer new, if you could get it for $30K would be a steal, especially since only a handful were built, and that is what you posted you wanted.
Go with a new closed deck(my new 24 leaves JC this week!). It"ll cost you another $20K O.T.D. , Boat- motor-trailer-setback-Kplanes-tax, but at least its brand new.
If you do check out that 24CC, snap a few pics and post them .I might. Never heard anything good about them anyway.

Funny thing is I found one in Newsday today but did not look at paper until after 5PM. Called but no call back yet. 1979 CC with a Merc 200 for 15,500.00 worth it if the motor is recent or new. Is the red one at John's shop yours? If so it is a very sharp looking boat. Me and my buddy's were checking it out. Good luck with it!

Cougar25,
I just clipped that ad out of Newsday to post it for you! Yeah, the R/W 24 is mine. Thanks . It is HOT looking. Any day now.
That 30 's interior definately needs to be gutted. Post some pics of the SUPERBOATS you check out!
