Does that Whipple kit effect the warranty? What is included in the kit?
If it were me, I would try the boat without it first. Then you can see if it has any positive effect...
From my personal experience, high flow spark arrestors, "upgrades" to the stock ignition, and reprogrammed ECUs, and... don't do anything for stock fuel injected engines.
One thing that may boost power is a better than stock exhaust system...

BASH's thoughts on blueprinting Ready? O.K. Here we go.
- I agree with FX's plan to do something about the bowlift solution on the Y2K hull. I too feel my 24 step is being deprived of speed because the bow just won't naturally lift without the combined use of a ton of trim & setback. JCAP and I have talked about this bowlift problem. Yes...straightening the surface area is not the answer. I like the "rocker" idea... & believe this combined with the step shouldn't cause the boat to porpoise...as it would do on a straight vee. I really hope this works...as mine will be the first 24 to undergo the "mod".
-Oh...just one more thing
YEAHHHH BABI!!!!!!!!

Personally, I think Johns going to tear me a new a-hole, for all this extra work that he didn't want to do. I can hear it now.........."Thanks Rick !!!!, Do me a favor and stay off the Fuc&%#G computer!!!". LOL
Bash, As for blueprinting the bottom with a rocker in it. It was first done on Freeze Frame, like 20 something years ago. Remmi blueprinted his bottom with a wicked rocker in it. That boat ran 77mph the first day out with stock 200 mercs. Hell !! He didn't even have the counter rotated lower unit on it yet. Ask Joey at East Coast about it. It took 2 weeks to do his bottom. The results were definately worth it..
