left hand props on some single engine vees does infact offset engine torque. also makes for better reentry when running running hard, on boats with a narrower beam. as said above just switch cable at throttle. how ever it is not highly recommended to do this with a drive that has alot of hours. can be catastrophic.

Gary,
If Jesse James can pull off 92mph with a 650-675hp. I don;t see any problem with getting 85-86mph with the 600. Hmmmmm
JessieJamesIII
2001Y2k
bravo XR with 2 in spacer(propshaft center 6in below keel)
29P5X hydromotive for speed(92 mph decent holeshot)
27P5x labbed for racing P-4(85mph amazing holeshot)
509 blowershop250 4psiboost 650 to 675 hp

i have , when i worked for mrd. also dirty cash is by far the fastest 30. 900 hp just over 100, lite, etc,,,, .single step.
if im not mistaken jesse had more like 700+, ?
200 h.p = 10/12 mph give or take.
also , once new drive is out , merc 600 gets a lil bump . bravo cant handle the power, at least under warranty.

Monstaaa,
Gary has the NEW XR drive on his boat. Which is supposedly alot stronger then the older XR's. Is there another new drive coming out, that your talking about ?

I have been running side by side with Jcap at 65 when he has whacked the throttle and blown me away...
650-700HP what ever... I can say his motor has monster torque!
The JessieJames III is set up perfectly and accelerates like no other 30' boat I've ever seen...
When Merc. gets Babi's motor running right and she has the right prop, 87-88mph should be possible...

Gary, Rick;
Are you going to try a 2" spacer when Merc comes back? Im thinking of doing a 2" spacer on mine from the get-go.
