How many hours on the drive? Mine has 80 so far. As for what to go with, that depends on how you want to drive it. If you want to throttle back on the launch's the XR should work ok. If not, I've seen over 1000 hp pushed through Max Machine units with good reliability out here.

Gary MRD has tried some of the new Imco,s . Ive heard their alittle slower because of the larger gears. Mite be worth a look. Do you have a spare to get you back in the water ?

Sorry you lost the drive G...
It had what 300+ hours with an overhaul at 200 when you rebuilt the 600.
In your shoes I'd buy a new/leftover XR in the box, bolt it on, and go. Have your other drive rebuilt as a spare or buy a used one as a spare.
Unfortunately with 800 ponnies, you can plan on breaking them evey year or 2...
I only run a basically stock 502Mag and have a spare Bravo knowing that it is only a matter of time...

I am redoing the upper ( new case and gears ) perhaps I can get past the summer, and think about another drive type.
