The konrad comes with 1 year warranty up to 800hp,after that you are on your own,it does require some re-rigging and adding extension box to house the trans, the motor pretty much stays in same location unless you move x-dimension.The new imco scx will be pretty much a bolt on,but not enough of them out there to judge.imco does not offer a warranty because people will over power them and then bs about their hp.When i sell a konrad product if motor is over 800hp there is no warranty(need to be fair)I just finished a 29 fountain with a 572 blown intercooled 900hp konrad ace, told the owner needs not to abuse it and should be ok,We will see how she holds up

I found out the same thing about the "NO" warr.
I pulled out an NA 580ci and stepped it up with a blower. Its at 945hp@6lb of boost. I'm thinking I may bring it down a little.

Gary,
it was 745hp NA and I was easy on the drive. it was an XZ. Sold it for the blower kit. I decided the torque curve wasn't what I wanted and said what the heck I've always wanted a blower, so here I am searching for the miracle drive.
Don't want to change the set up If I can help it. I think I would move the mtr foward before I went w/ a box and trans.
I may go with the scx and pull back on the pwr/boost.

I want it reliable so I don't have to use these

Tom, I do like the SCX, but from what I understand there are not to many out there, I gonna baby the XR this season and follow the SCX closely.

With that much power its going to eat everything from an XR to an Imco. Your better of with one XR and one spare.
