Dave,

Don't worry about me going OB. I like the simplicity of them, but after owning a thru-hull exhaust boat i don't think i could ever give up the sound. I keep my boat at my folks house in the patuxent just down from Clarks Landing restaraunt. I spend a lot of time at Battle creek and tiki, we should get together some time.

I thought i saw a SB 24 for sale online out of waldorf. Was that yours? If so are you still selling? I can't buy anything until I find out if I have to go to Taiwan for work for a year or not, but i am interested if I do not have to leave and its available this spring.

It might of been Gassticks' 24 / twin OB you saw for sale. He lives in Towson I think. There is another guy who just moved from NY to Calvert County with a 24 OB too. The was an older 24 for sale in Ocean City a while back. I think thats it for Superboats in MD. I don't have any plans on selling mine right now. I am repowering and probably keeping it for a few years.

I think fasteddy is selling his '30. He is down near Richmond.

Actually a 30Y2K seems to fit every requirement i have in a boat right now. They are more money than i originally planned on spending this year, but at least it would subdue my 2 foot-itis for a few years. I have to wait to see what my house re-appraises for first though

IF your gonna go new...& you have the room etc. ...may as well go Y2K.
-Used...this 24 you musta seen in the classifieds by now...its 4sale by a new owner again. & it has all the goodies for a good price.

-Oh...I'd never talk an "out of stater" into an O/B . Dave M is just scared he's gonna get spanked by a "fishing boat".

I did see that one, and if its still around in a few months i'll get more serious about it. When i find out the amount of money i can spend, that will be the deciding factor over new 30' or used 24'. Before reading up on superboats i never even considered a 30 footer because i knew i couldn't afford it. But $51,300 is really really enticing for that much boat. My neighbor just bought a 90 MPH 38' sonic, so i gotta do the best i can with my money to keep up with the Jones'. A man can live off of one meal a day can't he?

$51,300 is very enticing. But lets be real. Tack on another 10G's O.T.D. ...There's K planes...a trailer...& that gov't thing... called tax.

-Oh Dave...I'm "BACK IN BLACK" ...& don't worry...It will be painless...

Yeah I'm definitely interested. Can't do anything about it until April, but when the time comes i will look at any and every SB new and used that are on the market.

Man we had 3 nice days in the begining of the week and i already talked myself into buying a bigger boat. Its not good when you get spring fever in january
