Re: Question for FX10?
Thanks Rick, I personally like the looks of the old deck, do you still have it? Say if some one wanted to order a boat with the old deck.
Thanks, Kirk

Zuperboat,
A cored side could mean 2 things. A Heavy Duty race hull, very strong, or it could be a lightweight. What year is your hull. If it's after the early 90's, it' probably a lightweight.

Re: Question for FX10?
Rick Thanks for the info. The boat is a 99 tempest with a y2k bottom. My guess is its a lightweight and not a race hull.Weighs in at 4k dry.to me thats light if not the lightest 30 ever built.Skip from MRD told me when first assembled with a 750 it ran 100 with out much dialing time. KIRK That was my thought in 2002,I approached JOHN with it and he told me know way.About 2 months after I bought my tempest as a repo out of texas.Any way best of luck asking.

Re: Question for FX10?
I also ask JC about building a boat like the Zuperboat.
He told me no as well...
Reason being that he had only sold 2 Tempests in 3 years and when he changed to the Y2K deck, he got 10 orders the first year...
Hey Rick,
I know nothing about building boats, but would it be a big deal to drag out the old deck mold?
Why not offer the boat either way?

Tempest deck:
First off, it''s been outside for years, and needs a complete going over. At least a week is needed refinish it. And right now, we're alittle too busy to bring it inside and start working on it.
