Sutphen Gran Sport in Classifieds (8/2/05)
With a deal pending on a bigger boat, our 1972 Supthen Gran Sport 18' is up for sale at a reasonable price.
How cool is this Sutphen ? After her first restoration in 1985, took her down the Connecticut River towards Long Island Sound. When pulling up to the gas pumps, there was a crowd gathered around a brand new 38 foot Cigarette.
When we pulled up in the Sutphen, every single person who was ogling the Cigarette left that boat like it was yesterdays news and came over to check out the Sutphen. The look on Cig owner face was priceless. Then, the icing on the cake, one of his crew offered me $25k on the spot for my boat!
