It is a really nice looking boat...

There is a 34 here at LOTO.. used to have big power and 3's; now has 500's and bravos... Sutphen's can really handle...

It still amazes me the quality of Sutphen's boats.

Nope. But if you loan me $65K, I'll be glad to check her out!

I think he's asking too much for the boat. I think also the market, as it is right now is catering to other names in the powerboat market right now.

Sutphen is a famous name in the power boat industry and makes an AWESOME boat, but is only going to sell to a hardcore power boat fan. I personally think its a kick ASS boat, but when buying a boat of that size or bigger I will most likley opt for something that will be easier to sell if need be. Or I will put it in a price range that meets the market if possible according to what I owe on it.

Just my personel opinion.

It has been on the market for some time now. The price seems pretty reasonable to me for a stout 34 footer with twin 525SCs.

I think the price range is a little off. Lot's of comments on the board about looking for used boats in the $40-50k range.

Any more than that and most people will have to finance, and that means a new boat to get the good loan rates.

I agree, i think it is at a reasonable price, it is a newer hull. maybe quetion the motors / time left but the hull alone is worth almost that.
even if you had to put new motors in, it would STILL be cheaper than many other options out there at 35 feet!
I just got back from the miami boat show & 100 k does not go far anymore, sutphens still seem to be the most solid, best bang for the buck out there. ask anyone that has owned one, having owned 2, there are not many companys you can call where the owners remember your boat and or it's history, that says alot.
the only thing they are guilty of is Over building the boats - that last forever.
I would say that the mid 30's size, is the best size all around hull.

I would rather finance an old sutphen Than take a depreciation hit & finance on any said other newer boat

this one seems like a good buy!

I agree, I recently purchased a 1988 31' from a friend of mine who built it new. We are doing a few things to it to make it like new once again. It has the original gelcoat, we wet sanded & buffed it out and it shines like new money !
Richie builds a boat that is second to none. This is my third Sutphen in 20 years & you can't go wrong with one of them.
