Had a great time with the Sutphen crew as usual!! Yes Bill's boat runs pretty fast! Its was great meeting you Letterrip! You'll have to get your Sutphen ready for next year when we all do a run again. Unfortunately, we were going to run the cat but had a broken shift cable on Friday. Then on Sunday we run the Sutphen, got almost to the beach, and lost a motor! Talk about bad luck! At least we'll have stuff to do over the winter. So for the rest of the day, while my Dad went back down to saybrook to grab the truck and trailer, I jumped on with Ernie in the 31 Boxer. That boat runs amazing. It handled very well at 80+ through all the cross chop and huge cruiser wakes. Ernie really knows how to run a Sutphen! Morgan was there with the Blue boat also. He ran that boat beside us at 80 through all the cross chop running through it like a much bigger boat! It was also great to meet and see Jim Goodrich of Offshore Speed and Ski from back in the old days. Had a great time talking about all the Sutphen's he has sold over the years! He is going to help Sr try to sell the bigger boats again. We are all just one big Sutphen family!

Yes We are!

I was amazed how mint Tsunami is! in person it has waaaaayyy more "pop" than any hi res picture will give on the internet.
That boat is worth holding onto. It's Sooo Clean. Loved the Top Kick also!
We'll have to get together again. it was inly 2 hrs. till i got home I actually thought it would have been 3 I should have done dinner with you all. bummer.

Brad - Noyzee ( you're coming with me next year on my boat! )
Shawns boat was sick! Talk about ''Set Up" that thing honks! never mind the huge rooster tail it throws! Awesome!
there could have been 200 boats, but just a half dozen sutphens is still what I would have remembered.

Dont have to ask me twice!!! you have to do a few runs with us, even if its on the big boat. do a little winggi or mysery. we are going to do a cape trip at some point as well.

also, the sabago lake poker run is probably the best run you will ever do and your boat is perfect for it.
you should go with us next year!! Me, scottie, john b, lou, mike (with the 36 sonic) etc. its a great time!!

Jimmy(James Gang) couldnt make the run with his boat. He did drive here though and run back on the blue 21 SSX. I saw Brett on the beach. I think he likes running with all the outboard guys!
