My old sutphen
Thought Id let you guys know that my old sutphen is for sale again. Its a 20 FT 1984 sutphen with a 350 CID chevy built by Larry liefert in torrington ct.
He built paul newmans engines as awell as allot of 780 HP GT1 engines.
This was a stock type rebuild with just good machining practices. Its a cheap boat @ $6000.00 The engine was $3500 or so and it only has about 10 to 15 hrs on it since built. It has a edelbrock intake, Holley 4 BBL marine carb, Petronix electronic ignition in a mallory distributor.
Its a volvo 290 drive with power tilt. rare drive for a small boat ( very durable) The boat is left hand drive whic was also very rare in the sutphen.
Had all new Original MFG carpeting That cost me $600 for material only when I sold it.
No trailer included.
The boat needs some TLC but it ran really strong when I had it last. a few years back.. I dont think its been used once since it sold. New owner is losing some good money at this price. I got allot more than this for it.
