hey Bodyshot1,
You are absolutely right. It would have been 88-89 with three man bolster, triple kill switches etc. No padded lounger with lock downs. As I remember we left it so a back seat could be installed to take "guests out" or covered for racing. Cabin area was not finished, only access holes cut forward. Dash was not stock but custom for racing. (X) dimension was increased and bottom massaged a little.

yeah that's it alright!....I wanted to do a 6-man bolster, have a fairing installed...Bill has a big grab rail that runs the windshield line...
would've been perfect for P-class and poker runs...
again...oh well....

1986 Sutphen 30
This is a picture of my 1986 30 Sutphen. This boat has a race dash and race engine hatch, but a full pleasure boat interior. This was the first AME 4000 resin boat that Richie built. It was originally built for a local orthodontist in Fort Myers and was raced once previously in C Class in Sarasota. I won first place overall Local Class Sarasota in 1997 and 1998. The boat originally had 400 Cyclones and # II SSM. I repowered the boat in 1995 with HP 465s and TRS drives. I own two other Sutphens - the 1989 31 Spirit brochure boat I just repowered with HP 500s and Bravos and a 1999 35 with # VI s and 750 hp EFI. I will post pictures of the other boats when I have time.

Hey boat racerl30,
Page (1) of this thread I posted pics of Doc. "E's" boat while under constuction at the old finish shop. I Know you from the FM Offshore race club. I ran the Dry Pits there for the first 8 yrs. I would have bought the 30 but didn't hear about it until too late. I am retired but work part time for Page racing. Me and Big Joe worked together when the 30 was built.
Somthing changed today??? couldn't see or access attachments??

Hey Stillcrazy: do you recall a 30 named Execution Express? Boat is down the street from me has speedy 2's or 3's and is all orange with grim reapers on the hullsides? Nice looking machine.
