Trade 540's For Parts To Build 496's
Anybody Interested In Trading (2) 540cu.in. Engines For Edelbrock Marine Heads,496 Stroker Cranks And Rods, Comp. Cams, Lifters, Pistons.... These 540 Engines Were Built From 502hp's, They Have Merlin Cast Iron Heads Ported By Jim Valako,eagle Rotating Assemlies,je Pistons,crane Hyd. Roller Cams, Comp. Cams Stainless Roller Rocker Arms, Canton 10qt. Pans,850 Demon Marine Carbs, And More. Basically I Want To Build (2) 525sc 454's To My Specs. And Parts List.

hey jeff,
are you looking to build or get 496's or are you looking to build 454/525sc's. not sure what it is your looking to do or trade. you mentioned 496's and then 525sc's. or are you wanting to have stroked 525sc's? still may be able to help.

I have a built 489 stroker, I run about 500HP. If I had to do it all over again I would have looked for a 502 block and built a 540. It seems like you are going backward. Whats that saying "no replacement for displacement".

I have 2 complete 454 425hp's complete pan to intake and 2 sc600 merc dual carb blowers and manifolds ??? I also have 1 496 4.25" stroker short block unassembled.
