Xr Uppers (Sweptback) For Sale
I have a pair of new style XR sweptback uppers for sale.
( I am upgrading to Imco SCX's)
Freshly rebuilt April 2010
heat treated race gears
running synthetic race lube
only 40 hours.
I got married in September so the boat saw little use last year.
My mechanic is pulling them off the boat this week and they can be inspected anytime.
$6200 or Best Offer for Uppers and Bell Housings
willing to separate
Pictures were taken right before Christmas. There are leaves resting between the drives and rams, sorry I missed them when taking the pictures.

M&m
I can answer that question because I just put the M&M steering on my sweptback upper. All you have to do is trim the bottom triangle plate of the M&M plate. It's still plenty strong. It took me about 15 minutes with a cutoff tool (went slow because I didn't want to discolor the stainless). I talked to a couple of offshore riggers, all said it will be plenty strong.
