Also, Uship.com is a great site to get some very inexpensive delivery rates.
thanks for the pics Cobra did you leave it in the water over winter ? without being permanently anchored to the dock would'nt ice mess with the lift ?
thanks

n20michael... you have to pound 4 piles into the base of the water to install this type of lift... Ideal for marina use or sheltered water access where the pile can survive the winter...
I have a 4 lever cantilever type lift for sale that will handle a 38 fountain or equivilant size boat, however it is not suitable for my cat, that's why I'm selling it... $12,995 new (10yrs ago) will sell for $5000.00 if interested let me know, I'm up Keswick area...

Yes, I leave it in over the winter. The pilings are the only thing actually in the water when the lift is in the up position. I ran a bubbler in the winter to prevent the pilings from lifting due to ice.

I will have to look into having pilings installed, I had a boat lauch installed a few years ago, so, working with the MNR can be a total nitemare, but, will look into it.

My boat is MUCH smaller than 38ft, is the lift adjustable? I would love to see some pics, Thanks!

Yes, it can fit any size boat, I had a 22 Donzi on it most of the time.
