1991 Baja 240 es low hours- with 525 blue engine or without engine
Boat is in good shape, has a bravo 1 outdrive with thru hull exhaust. Boat has a 125 hours on it, the stock engine was pulled to be replaced with a 525sc engine but engine needed to be rebuilt, but I decided to build it as a 496 stroked 454 with a 500hp 502 top end, I have a brand new crane 420hp cam as well and all new valve train parts with it. Which then engine has new eagle rods, eagle crank and valves. Just never got to ordering pistons, bearings and gasket kit. The 496 is is standard and ready for machine work and assembly, I also have the matching Gil exhaust for the boat, pressure tested and includes correct stainless risers for the boat. Another option is I still have the factory block and crank, with some 1970s large oval 454 heads.
Also have a new trim pump, mild new comp cam, rebuilt trim cylinders, new gimble bearing, tons of extra parts. Drive shower, 500hp air filter. Both engine harnesses 525 and stock. The blue valve covers from 525, all the blue drive acc. Which are very expensive. The 525 does not have the supercharger anymore as I planned to run it with single plane intake. I have 800cfm holley marine carb as well. Brand new 2.250 manley intake valves, low hours manley inconel exhaust valves, 525sc rectangle port heads, powdercoated intake. Does have factory installed trim tabs and i have a vengence 23p prop i will through in with it.
Includes tandem trailer everything works, but tires are about due to be changed for sitting last 3 years in storage.
What it needs,
1.Missing engine hatch, would be cheap to make or have someone make for you.
2. Of course there is no engine in it now, but have a few choices .
3. trailer is in good shape, but could a little tlc.
4. Boat has been in storage for a few years and could use a good wax.
5. The windshield is missing, bought it without it. There are 2 on ebay now.
Pricing,
1. If you want everything $4500, I have this much in engine parts and exhaust alone. There are tons of parts im forgetting, many thousands of dollars invested but just been sitting.
2. Everything minus the stock engine. $4000
3. Boat with out engine or gil exhaust. You will get factory exhaust and factory harness for engine $3000
4. If the boat sells alone, I will part everything else out.
I am free over most the weekend but during the week I am too busy with work. As the boat is in storage. I Do have clear title in my name as well. For now I am firm on prices, but cash offers will be considered. Located in Houston Tx
