Thanks for updating this.
I was told the package (motor, gimbal, drive) was from 88 27 Sea Ray, but I never saw the boat and the guy acted like he was not really sure of the yr. This was sitting in persons garage. I wanted just the motor, but he would not split it up.

In looking at the pics it appears that the replacement skeg is shorter than stock...anyone agree or is it perhaps the angle of the shot?

Being an 88 it doesn't have the provision for a drive oil reservoir correct?

It looks like a full skeg to me. A 1988 drive would not have the reservoir provision.

Actually, the skeg is brand new. Just had complete new one professionally installed. Therefore the lower is freshly painted.
