Sorry, i thought it was a respectable offer for a used block that is probably going to have to be bored again and a new set of pistons, rings, bearings and gaskets purchased. Possibly rebalanced, assembled and dyno'd, Will cost 3k to do correctly.

I'm not sure how you arrived at this logic, but the pitting can barely be felt with your fingertips. Nothing needs replaced. Realistically, you could get away with not even honing, and put it back together the way it is. The rings haven't even seated fully as there are only 10 or less hours on the motor.
