5k is impossible. Even 10k would be too low. This stuff has hardly been used.

I keep getting offers for the hull but no one has followed through yet.

Wow....really?

Come on....according to "YOUR" pricing.....

$12,655"

New, the way YOU bought and built....

Now, it is used. Take off a minimum of 30-40%

Or don't...it's your stuff. But a 20% reduction off of used parts that may be fine (your words) and need dissasembly, honing, possible replacement and then reassembly....

Not much of a chance here....I'd take the 5k and R U N....

Sorry, i thought it was a respectable offer for a used block that is probably going to have to be bored again and a new set of pistons, rings, bearings and gaskets purchased. Possibly rebalanced, assembled and dyno'd, Will cost 3k to do correctly.

I'm not sure how you arrived at this logic, but the pitting can barely be felt with your fingertips. Nothing needs replaced. Realistically, you could get away with not even honing, and put it back together the way it is. The rings haven't even seated fully as there are only 10 or less hours on the motor.
