This is another view of the power steering bracket. A small piece of flat stock (included) attaches to the spacer and the front of the pump for another stabilization point.

In regards to flywheel balancing, there are basically TWO types: Internal (or neutral) balance, and external balance.
ALL first generation Chevy V8 engines (beginning the with the 265 in 1955) were of the internal balance type --- EXCEPT THE SB400 AND THE 454BB.
Thus, the flywheel for an internal balance engine is a NEUTRAL balance, you know, like how you have your wheels balanced. ALL of the balancing of the engine's rotating internals is done BETWEEN the harmonic balancer and the flywheel. Theoretically, ANY neutral balance flywheel will bolt onto ANY internal balance engine and THEORETICALLY, there would not be any vibration whatsoever.
An External balance engine, such as the SB400 and the 454, do not have enough mass on the crankshaft counterweights to adequately balance the rotating assembly. Thus, BOTH the harmonic balancer and the flywheel have additional weight on one side to provide additional weight for balancing. Therefore, a flywheel for an Externally balanced engine does NOT have a neutral balance to it.
Above is a comparison of a neutral balance and an external balance (454) flywheels. You can clearly see the added weight on the right flywheel.

Velocity, there were basically three different flywheels for 454's - the older Mk IV engines used one, then there was another for Gen V/VI cast crank motors, and yet another for Gen V/VI forged crank motors. I don't have the time to look up the part numbers, but it will be cast into the back of the flywheel. Thread poster did state that flywheel is sold.
