Default Mercruiser Complete 454 BBC

Complete 454 Mercruiser BBC removed from a 1998 boat yesterday. Boat had hull damage, motor has a little over 300 hrs on it. Starts and runs great no issues. Have video of it running. Come complete with from oil pan to carb. All accy except alt. I'm also keeping the bellhousing a drive hub. Can fire motor up if you want to hear it run. 3000obo. Purchased boat for Bravo drive assy thats why I'm selling the motor.

Is it a magnum (would be 365hp) or the standard (330hp I think)? If unclear pull the serial number and run with Merc to ID exactly what you have.

That's not a mag motor, has the low intake, looks like the 310hp version

310's were in cruisers or some production go fast built by mainly cruiser/pleasure boat companies.
Was called the 310hp performance tuned 454. Most were mated to bravo 3's.

Does not match the 1998 year.

That number says 1996-1997
Same grouping as my 1997 Baja 208, only mine is 0K so yours would most likely be a 1996. But it should be a 330hp.
