Here are the pics of my bad coil, P/N 879984, but I believe that Merc. racing superceded with a new part number 8M0077471... but you probably already know this, LOL! I 'll take qty (2) please. I'll call you here in a little bit.

Great talking with you this am, thanks for hooking me up with Qty (2) of the Merc. coils. I will re-examine the secondary tower boot for arcing damage.... I will also ship my PCM 555, that I had to replace last year, when a stuck IAC valve took it out, and have you look at it to see if you can repair it.

These are the real Mercury Marine IGN- 1A ignition coils for sale brand new. These are not the knock offs that many are selling online including there is many big companies selling the knock offs as well.. Merc wants $145 for the real ones retail.
$70 bucks each is what I have for pricing.
11 to 20 coils are $ 65 bucks each.
if you need the pigtail connectors I have those to at great price.
Shipping is extra but not much at all - maybe 20 bucks max depending on how many being shipped out -- USA shipped locations. Outside the USA is more money shipped.
