I purchased boat from Performance Boat Center last summer, no info on engine builder or dyno sheet. There add listed hp at 700 And hours at 40. All I had to go on was Brads good faith and honesty

He was running different valve covers looking at the pics....marine aluminum valve covers...now they are chrome stamped steel...those wont work with marine exhaust I dont think.

Good catch. Now see if you can read the numbers on the exhaust side. I thought I would be able to tell what kind they were by exhaust port but I can't.

The side of head string looks like it starts with PC. Could these be pro comp heads?

X2. Also OP would be very helpful if you posted a little more about the engine and history. I realize you trusted brad at performance boat center however the words like (roller, billet, forged, CNC, H beam, etc are pretty much meaningless. Example if brad (seller) told you the heads are "C&C" he should certainly know the manufacturer. Or maybe not considering C&C. I'd suggest doing a little investigating and identify exactly what you have the best you can. You selling this for new build? If so what were your speeds and rpm on the water were you getting. There's got to be a build sheet or builders name somewhere. Don't get me wrong the engine looks great but it smells a tad bit like "perfume on a pig".

Identify some parts. Did you do a compression test and or leakdown?
