1984 Wellcraft Excalibur 27ft speedster
Looking to sell my restoration project. Boat was set to be restored by a boat shop and was done dirty by shop owner. So it’s a 84 Excalibur 27ft Speedster. All parts are there. Looking to sell whatever parts I can to try and recoup something or I’ll sell all the parts in a bulk sale. The interior is in like new condition. The deck has been prepped for paint and the black on the side and transom has been done. New stringers. Have original 383 that’s in the boat. Needs rebuild. TRS drive. Complete and told functioning. Gas tank is solid. No leaks. Load rite trailer in good condition.
let me know what you need or want all I’ll see what I can do. If you interested in all parts let me know.

Doing the Same Rebuild on my Wellcraft
I'm in the process of updating my 1984 Wellcraft 27 Speedster. Made a few changes like outdrive rebuild, 600 hp motor, MSD ignition, Lightning Headers and above water tips with silent choice exhaust through the prop, painted the trailer, and fixing and updating all kinds of problems.
You can see this process on my playlist on the boat on YouTube at:
Regor's Garage & Boat Basin
The playlist shows it's a 1986, too late to change, but the boat is a 1984.
Also rebuilding a 1984 Grady White Tournament 243.

You've Done Much of the Hard Work
Years ago I lived in Maple Shade, New Jersey.
Seems like you have done the really hard work with the painting and the structure rebuild. The outside looks really good. I like the color scheme, black with the red stripe.
I repainted the TRS drive, beefed up the transmission and added external hydraulic steering. Now I need to either paint the hull or go to a boat wrap.
The boat is a hoot to drive. Does in the 70s, it's a long narrow boat that seems like you're driving from the back seat.

yea can’t find anyone interested in buying it as is. I’m gonna go pick it up when I have a chance and bring it to Arizona. Gonna try the mechanical restoration myself. Never worked on a boat but have on many cars. Hopefully not too different. Lol
