Oh, and I think we seriously need to consider leaving a day early or staying an extra day, because that long trip and then coming home the next day all hung over and putting on the trailer etc. is really gonna suck.
They are going the weekend of the 19th, if i was a home builder or an insurance guy I could take more time off.....

Oh, obviously I had my dates wrong. They probably told me the 13th so I would go on a different weekend.

It's your bachelor party, If you can't take off an extra day for that, what will ever be a better excuse?

There are only few days that are a good excuse.

Funerals, Births, weddings and bachelor parties. THose off days add up to less than 2 weeks in a lifetime. Think about it.

What plans do need to be made are:

Where we leaving from?

Where are we leaving trucks and trailers? "i don't want my chit stolen"

Maybe spend Friday night in Clear Lake?

It's probably insured for more than it's worth anyway. I alway wonder why people worry about that.

Staying friday night in CLear Lake is not a bad Idea as long as it's somewhere that we can launch friday night and keep the boats in the water and leave out Sat Morning. That way we can get all of the BS out of the way friday night.

If we leave from the Galveston yacht basin it cuts 1 hour off of travel time in the boat.

I'm up for staying at either place. The friday night deal sounds good though as long as we launch friday night. Isn't the yact Basin more secure? It's probably more convenient overall.

Joew is sitting in my office and he said he talked to Louie and he didn't know anything about it but would probanly like to go also.

I would definitely leave from Galveston. 2 min ride into the gulf and stick it to the wall. How many boats are going and whats the specifics,I would like to make this one.
