Shipper is going to pick up the Nortech Friday morning. Had to just bite the bullet and pay the $1100. At least it saves me a few days of driving.

Latest from Homeland security on the oil and western FL. Hopefully it won't spread over to Destin, but it is not looking good. To bad that poker run isn't this month, then it would still be in the clear.

John, the guy that sold the Nor Tech to the guy I bought it from, called my today and taked for a while. Told me that the boat in it's current form ran 113. . Said with the stock 1000HP it was 83mph.

Stil getting rid of those engines though. I will built some different ones over the winter and run my little red ones in it for the rest of the summer. Should be here middle of next week.

Doubt it will make it to the calcutta though.

Good times this weekend on Travis. The lake was pretty much at normal level , if there is such a thing. Saw Brian and his crew there on the houuuuuuuuthboat Jr. Plenty of floating and drinking in Devil's Cove was done and a little grub was eaten at Carlos and Charlies. The Scarab handled the lake like a champ and it was FULL of people. Wind was howling and is was rougher than sh!te. We need to figure out a way to replace our lake with that one without having to move. Get on that would you.
