i copied that from an email from Dave Potter...

Thomas not only helped all of us on boats and with good laughs when he worked at Papas in the late 90's but he was right there when Marianne passed away for me. He took the kids to see the Apache's to try and take their mind off their Mom.

Thomas is an amazing person and for such a great wife/mother like Brandy to be taken away from him is a horrible tragedy. Thomas serves his country overseas and at home and was doing for all of us when his baby was first born making sure we all enjoy are freedom to be idiots and drink beer and make babies and that they are going to be free to do the same thing. Everyone take this opportunity to remember life is short and sweet and precious and should be savored. So get off the computers and play with your kids and dont forget to tell your baby momma's you love them!!!

Brandy brought a sparkle to a room, if she hadnt been such a good person we would have all had more opportunities to party with her but she was smart enough to stay away I am truly sorry for Thomas's loss and the loss to boating community and our little patch of the world. God takes the most precious angels for himself and it is not our place to ask why but to just hope we will get to join them one day!
Well said sir.

DROWNING ON LAKE CONROE
Filed Mon, May 30, 2011 by Scott Engle
Fire and EMS, Local / Area News

Recovery workers have ceased operations for the night in the search for the missing boated. After 4 pm rescuers were dispatched to multiple people in the water near Point Aquarius. When rescue boats arrived on the scene several people who had been swimming off a pontoon boat had already been pulled into other boats. That is all except one 45-year-old man who had gotten to a sandbar and shortly after went under.

Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constables Lake Patrol and Montgomery County Dive Teams searched until after dark. With dark set in and winds still high it was unsafe for divers so it was called off until morning.

Several assists were done today including three capsized boats. Another twenty were towed in with mechanical problems by Tow Boats USA a local towing service on the lake.

Tonight officials including game wardens are working not just the lake, but area roads as the No Refusal Weekend continues.

Winds Monday are expected to be at least 25 mph once again making it dangerous for boaters in the already low lake.

Many today were observed with overloaded boats or many not wearing life vests. Most of those children,

You know for the first time ever, I will have a running boat for the Clear Lake poker run this weekend, and not enough time to make that happen. Not really feeling a loss on that one.

But what is up with TOPPS Conroe run? I will have 2 boats by then?

Has anybody heard anything??

Where is the Texoma schedule? Has anyone seen it? I want to bring the boat up here while I am still working and run up there?

Do we want to plan a trip??

Also, What about the Baja Barbie club? Are they doing a poker run this year? I want to se about that as well?
