Haha...yeah, that was the first shake down with the boat first time in the water. Running on top on 1 motor at 45-50. Actually came across that pic the other day...great memories except for the X-Wife

I am a current member of Topps Conroe but honestly haven't been as active as I would have liked too. Back when I worked at Marine Max in the early 2000's we were a corp sponsor and we had a blast with the crew back in the old days. Now that I'm in the car biz my work schedule unfortunately gets in the way of doing a lot of the (or lack there of now ?) activities that were always so much fun in the past. Yes, I only have a 29 Outlaw now but looking for something 38'ish in the spring/summer. My inlaws have a cruiser on canyon so we go out there more then Conroe anymore it seems. Conroe has just changed...still got a good group of friends out there but people, attitudes and everything has just changed...I know we can never go back in time and I know the economy got a lot of people and businesses but just wish the lake was more like the way it was then it is now. Have always tried to be friendly and helpful to everyone and have always appreciated those who have welcomed us with them.

Happy new year to y'all and hopefully we can get a chance to really meet sometime....

Lockwood.
what do you do in the car bizz?

Don't tell Chuckie that, but before your time and for probably 15 years he ran a 21' as a TOPPS CL member and he never missed a run even when a lot of bigger boats said no. We had several Baja H2X and Hammers that ran with us all the time and had tons of fun with them. Just have get out there and go.
