Wow your good how did you make a bottle jack with 2x4's and where do you fill it up with hydraulic fluid?

Yes I keep a couple of blocks of wood in my traler tool box and can lift the trailer and boat up on any of the axles

bottle jack, "T" lug wrench, 2 spares, even replacement lights for the trailer. Hoping if I'm prepared with all that stuff I will never actually need it!

I usually just find a curb and pull over it so the flat tire is hanging, undo the lug nuts (first) then pull the wheel off. Had to do this with the Black Thunder coming back from Baltimore. Unfortunately the last flat I had coming back from Florida I had nothing, had to borrow a lug wrench ( got all but the last lug loose) and no spare. Called a tow company and some OSO friends in SC and NC. The tow driver brought a space saver spare off who knows what and changed it on for me. Cost us 2 hours and $60.00.

Bottom line:

Put a spare on your trailer and keep the right tools either in a trailer box or in your truck.

I keep a bottle jack in the truck at all times, along with several 2x4's and chunk of 6x6 ...the jack came with the truck and is rated at 6000 lbs. If I'm going on a long trip, like out of state or something, I throw my floor jack in the back of the pickup. I also go NO WHERE without my 4 way lug wrench. It never leaves my truck.
