Nope, but I bet they have the most.

They have had so many electrical gremlins over the years it's silly. This is actually one of the reasons I like GM over FORD. Much better electronics.

my friends F350 burned 2 months ago.
it was a nice looking rig too.
insurance company said it was electrical.
I wonder if they will go after ford for the ins claim $

at least the they were able to part out some of the drivetrain

When you sell more car and trucks I guess it makes sense to have more recalls.

Im not sure about the cars but I know for the light trucks its avery well known fact in the automotive industry that as a company Ford is the best selling truck and has been for quite sometime........but if you combined Chevy and GMC (in the sales numbers they are considered seperate companies although they run down the same assy lines) they outsell Ford by very large margin and its been like that for years.

show me those numbers, i call bull sh it.... the f series truck has been the best selling car in general.. show me a series in any car man that sells more cars or trucks than the f series...

not so.... add the tenth place seller most years to the second place seller (silverado) and that rarely will beat the f-series, and the sierra has never been in the top 10, so I don't know how your theory would work... 10th place is usually around 200,000 units or so and the f-series will push a million every year and the silverado around 750 or so... and i doubt the sierra is 11th either...

That's just full size trucks, let's not even start with the smaller trucks which FORD has basically given up on.

What's even more amazing is the fact that the Chevy trucks are at the end of their current Platform lifecycle and they are still so competitive.

i was looking at total sales of cars, trucks and suvs.....

and that chart backs up that statement..... but it looks to be closer for '05...
