Myco trailer ???'s
I'm getting ready to order a new Myco for my 2001 Donzi 38Daytona that I'm buying. What options would you guys consider? The trailer will be splashed in fresh water only, and will be used every weekend during the summer, and will typically see about 10-12k miles annually. I prefer the painted steel, and I'm thinking drive guard, extra LED's, and electric/hydraulic on all axles. This is the boat.
Thanks
Corey

Extra lights are extra headaches even for more blingbling.
Love my driveguard but it makes it long on the overhang so be carefull...
Also tell them to attached wiring to the top of the rail cause if attached to the bottom when your driveguard rubs all the wires will get ripped off...

Go with Disc brakes on all axles. The electric over hydraulic are the best thing out there. If you go with drum brakes have flush kits installed AND USE THEM.
just my thoughts as I work on trailers all the time.....................

Alum for less towed weight. Spare tire mounted. Electric over hyd SS disc brakes on ALL axles. You might want some tool boxes but theirs do not lock and any thing in them WILL get wet from launching and loading.

I think I just nixed the drive guard idea. I cross some railroads that would cause me to drag the guard pretty bad. I haven't considered aluminum, maybe I'll look into that.

I am ordering one too... getting a price on both steel and aluminum... storing the boat on the trailer will be a problem with a drive guard so I am not sure what I will do there yet....
sweet boat .... you keeping it at Texoma?
