Need info. Looking to install some air bags and I need recommendations for Manuf and size. These will be put on a 05 Ex 4x4. Load will be 10-12ooo lbs.
Also, should I set these up to be individual's or in tandem?
Truck is stock as of right now but looking to do some work over the winter to help stabilize the overall ride.(info from previous post)

Firestone part #2251 if it's 4WD. Part #2255 if it's 2WD.
Firestone or Air Lift either one make nice kits. I've installed both on several occasions without worry.

Set them up individually, otherwise when you go around a corner it will transfer air from one bag to another...not good. Go with the firestones.
I have them on my dually and would not go it without them......

I am on my second set of Air-Lift 1000s, (second truck with them that is). I love them, and would not want a truck without them. Definately go for individual setup. What is mentioned above is true depending on your load. Folks speak very hightly of the Firestone Ride-Right system as well.

I recently bot a 2004 Ex, (had a 2000 prior). The 04 has 18,000 miles, I have put on new edelbrock shocks, then Firestone ride rite air bags (ex have lighter leaf springs than F250's). And last week installed Landyot Radius Rods, which makes truck track much straighter over bumps etc.
The air bags did lift the rear about 1 3/4" with minimal 5# air.
Have not towed anything heavy yet, does does firm up cornering.
