Default Oil leak from intercooler hose, 04 PSD?

Been trying to get all the bugs out of my F-250 King Ranch, 2004 30K. It is an early 04, they have replaced a bunch of components including the turbo. Why would oil leak from the intercooler hose(passenger side near bottom of radiator?) They say they just didn't get the clamp tight when the turbo was changed. Not a lot of oil but a constant small leak? Does not seem to me there should be any oil.

It sounds like it would be the turbo bearings. Are you getting blue smoke from the exhaust? If not then it must be dripping on there from somewhere else.

You mentioned that you had replaced the turbo. It's possible that the old one dumped oil into the system when it failed.

Mark, I'm not getting any smoke out of the exhaust. I wonder if they might have let oil run down there while changing the turbo? Before they changed it never smoked. I havn't wrenched on it since it is under warranty, but this baffles me. I think I'm going to have to take it apart. They are supposed to change another sensor to try to take the lag out friday. How much oil would you find in this circuit with a vehicle this new????

It is possible that oil got into the system during the turbo cahnge or when the old turbo failed. Sounds like a warranty issue.

Good luck
