1995 ford 7.3 powerstroke
I am looking at a 1995 ford with the 7.3 powerstroke. it has 190K miles on it with new injectors, brakes, and rotors. Did this year diesel have any issues?

None that I'm aware of. My 96 powerstroke has 275K on it. The two things that seem to go on them are the CPS on the front of the engine and the glow plug relay. You can go to thedieselstop.com for more info.

I have 2 of them, one with 330k that has had 3 tranny's, 3 CPS's, 2 glow plug relays, 1 ring&pinion, 1 water pump, 1 gauge cluster, 1 anitlock controller, and 1 transfer pump. The other only has about 250k with no problems. They both are attached to a 15k lb ++ trailer everyday. They pull great on the flat & level, (which is what I use them for), but do not have nearly the pulling power of my '99 Dodge Cummins.
On your way home from buying it, stop by the International Dealer and buy a CPS and put it in the glove box. The ~$120 part will just quit working with little warning and you will be stuck. It only takes about 2 minutes to change and can easily be done on the side of the freeway

2000 - 2003 with the 7.3L PSD are prime. I just picked up a 2000 PSD a few months ago with 58K miles. LOVE IT.
1995 -1999 are virtually the same with minor changes.
1999.5 through 2003 are BULLETPROOF 7.3L PSDs.

Judging from how often I see it mis-spelled, I'm beginning to think it's an error on Cummins' part.
