99 F-350 ford diesel questions.
I just bought a 99 F-350 single r/wheel extented cab truck with 70K miles. It seems like a real nice truck, but I didn't do much research on it. Is there any quirks or maintanence issues I need to look for or check? I've always heard good things about them and was curious. Thanks, Ken.

Go to an International dealer {NOT Ford} & get a spare crank trigger...They go bad around 60-70 k. easy to replace...Other than that..

Re: 99 F-350 ford diesel questions.
I had a 99 250 that I sold a few years back. Great truck plenty of power, pulled like a dream. I had the turbo pedistal and a few thing go bad right at 90K then I sold the truck. This was all cover under the 100K ford engine warrante. I think the deductable was like $100 +/-. The work would have cost $1500 without the coverage. Overall, great truck!

Sup Kenny,,
We have a 99 F350 and love it. I probably have around 160thou miles on it, Had to replace the Fuel pump at around 125 and a torque Converter at around 140 thou. The best money you can spend on it,is a chip(program), a different air intake & filter, and exhaust!!! That will all pay for itself in about two years in fuel mileage savings. Mitch
