dually wheels
I'm looking for set of wheels for my '06 chev.dually...I'm trying to find one wide rim and tire for the dual rears to give it a "tubbed out"look.I want to go with a 20-22 inch wheel and a real low profile tire and still need to pull the boat ...any ideas? Thanks,Mike

Re: dually wheels
I don't think Brentz wheels makes a Super Single like that. I think you would only be able to do such with an Alcoa wheel.
There are several threads here on OSO about towing with 22.5 inch wheels. Most of them are NOT favorable. A search will bring them up.
If you are looking for a low and street-rod look on the dually, many are taking 22.5 inch wheels, and shaving them down to accept a 22" tire. Same with 24.5 inch wheels shaved down to accept a 24" tire. HOWEVER, I don't think you can get E-load rated tires in these sizes.
Take a peak at American Force (google it) and eBay. Search on "22.5 wheels" and "dually wheels". Quite a few hits will come up.
The biggest I would want to go is 19.5" wheels.
Good luck.

Carboy,
Call Tyler at Aquasun Motorsports and talk to him about supersingles, but they have to run through adapters. His cell# is1-386-690-3479 if you need it.

Re: dually wheels
This is my truck on Brents site, I was just with him at SEMA, the phantom dually look you want cant be done with standard rims...yet. you would have to take an 8 lug wheel from Weld or another manufacturer, and then put a street slick on it. You would have no tow rating at all.
